James Sandoval, age 64, died on March 12. Born in California, he was a longtime resident of Alexandria. He worked for 15 years with Service Source and was owner of Diamond Jim's Art Deco. He loved San Francisco where he previously had worked as a taxicab driver and an exterminator. He was a craftsman, who enjoyed woodworking and had a great sense of humor. Parrot Jewelry Store in Alexandria and her son, Skydance; his 93-year-old mother, Evelyn Johannson; his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Mike Dalmau; his brother, Bobby Sandoval; his daughter Cheri Bussani; two grandchildren and many close friends.
