The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce played host to the 29th Annual Valor Awards March 1, at the McLean Hilton Hotel. The Chamber recognized 63 emergency response officers for various acts of heroism and bravery in the line of duty, including honoring several Fairfax County Police Officers for their bravery in the shootings at the Sully Police Station last May. Those honored represent the Fairfax County Police Department, the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department, the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office, the Vienna Police Department and Herndon Police Department.
