Broad Run pitcher Caitlyn Delahaba led the Spartans to a 29-0 record and the 2007 AA softball state championship. This year she ensured that her name will be printed in the state record books for years to come. She tossed 10 no-hitters, the most in Virginia high school history. She recorded 25 shutouts and allowed just six runs.
Potomac Falls seniors Ben Biber and Chris Frank are two fo this year's scholarship recipients from the Nicole Megaloudis Foundation.
Megaloudis played four years of varsity soccer at Potomac Falls including the 2000 AA state championship team. She died in a 2004 car accident while a freshman at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Biber has played both soccer and basketball and has a 3.8 GPA. He is also an Eagle Scout. He will play basketball St. Mary's College in maryland.
Frank played soccer and football and was a state runner-up for his Sports Marketing and Decision Making project. He will play football at Christopher Newport College.
