<sh>Masked Man Robs Suntrust Bank
<bt>On Wednesday, May 30, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a masked man entered the Suntrust Bank at 9883 Georgetown Pike and demanded money from a teller. According to Fairfax County Police, the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled on foot. Police said the teller was not injured. The suspect was described as African American, about 30 to 35 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. The suspect was wearing a Halloween-type mask, a light gray or white hooded sweat shirt with dark lettering, light-colored blue jeans and black gloves. No weapon was seen. <sh>Latin American Festival in Great Falls
<bt>A Latin American Festival will be held on Sunday, June 10 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Great Falls. Residents are invited to attend and enjoy the music and food of Latin America while helping to raise funds for St. Catherine’s sister parish in Nicaragua. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5. There will be a raffle with many prizes. Raffle tickets are $1 each.

<bt>In the article “Survey Says…” in the May 23-30 edition of the Great Falls Connection, it was incorrectly stated that the Great Falls Citizens Association (GFCA) 2020 Vision Project survey was mailed to 500 residents. The survey was actually mailed to 7,200 mailing addresses in Great Falls, including post office boxes, and 1,132 people responded.
