In recognition of the 400th anniversary of Jamestown, the exhibition "Jamestown, Establishing English America" is now open at The Lyceum, Alexandria’s History Museum, 201 S. Washington St. Many rare books are featured, including a copy of "Lucilentissima" by Johann Schöner. Museum visitors will also see a first edition of Captain John Smith’s account "The History of Virginia," published in 1624 and featuring the first map showing the name and location of the Jamestown Colony.
