The Loudoun County Department of Family Services will hold its next "Homeownership 101" workshop Monday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 11, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls. The county provides free homebuyer education workshops to assist potential first-time homebuyers in understanding the home-buying process. The six-hour workshop covers a number of topics relating to homeownership, including budgeting, credit, working with Realtors, the mortgage process and what to expect at settlement. Attendance at both sessions is required. The class size for each workshop is limited.
