The Art of Mosaics, a new class for ages 18 and older, will meet on Sundays, Jan. 14 to March 4, 4-6 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry St., S.E. No experience is requires and all tools are provided. Learn the history of mosaics and work with ceramic tile and stained glass pieces to complete a mosaic of your own.

Personal Safety class, a crime-prevention class for women, will be held in four parts, on Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 22, 24, 29 and 31. Classes will be 7-10 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry St., S.E.
The class includes basic education in crime prevention and risk reduction measures, and practice in physical self-defense techniques. The instructor is Officer Virginia Palmore of the Vienna Police Department.

“Writing Your Personal History,” an informal, group-run class for people interested in documenting their life stories, will be held Thursdays through March 29, 2007 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry St., S.E. The Great Falls Art Center holds weekly art classes for all ages and stages at the Fouquet Art Studio on Walker Road in Great Falls.
