Police say that, on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 11:45 a.m., he was inside the Centreville Regional Library, toward the rear of the main room. He was sitting near a 37-year-old Centreville woman when, say police, he allegedly exposed himself to her.

<sh>Woman Is Charged with Filing False Police Report

<bt>Not only did she shave 10 years off her age, say police, but the woman who claimed she was assaulted at knifepoint last week made up the whole thing.

As a result, they have charged Meghan McConaghy, 29, of 6757 Jenny Leigh Court in Centreville's Clifton Townes community with filing a false police report.

Initially, say Fairfax County police, McConaghy — who allegedly gave her age as 19 — told authorities that, last Thursday, Feb. 1, someone attacked her as she walked down the 6700 block of Jenny Leigh Court.

According to police, she allegedly reported that she'd parked her car around 12:45 a.m. and began to walk away when she was attacked from behind by an unknown man. The suspect pushed her to the ground, displayed a knife and began ripping off her clothes.

McConaghy allegedly told police she struggled with her assailant, who then fled. She then ran to a friend's house and police were called. Taking her seriously, police took down her report and began investigating.

However, on Monday, Feb. 5, police stated their investigation determined that the woman was not assaulted. They then filed a charge against her and released her on a summons.

On Dec. 15 in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, Nguyen was convicted of misdemeanor exposure. However, when he appealed it last Thursday, Feb. 1, in Circuit Court, Judge J. Howe Brown dropped the charge against him.
