YMCA is offering the My Place after-school enrichment program. Features homework help, arts and crafts, physical fitness programs, games and healthy snacks. The program will be offered at Forest Grove, Seldens Landing, Sterling and Sugarland elementary schools, from after school until 6 p.m. Fee: $285 per month, 15 percent sibling discount. Loudoun County 4-H is offering 4-H Arts and Theater: Aug. 13-17, Franklin Park, Purcellville, for 9- to 13-year-olds.

To enroll in any of the camps, call the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office at 703-777-0373 for a packet. Each camp costs $150 and covers materials and a daily snack. A brochure with more details about the camps is available online at www.loudoun.gov/extension.

Loudoun County children between the ages of 8–13 who do not have experience playing golf and who do not own their own clubs are eligible to participate a golf introduction program, "Hook-A-Kid-On-Golf," Aug. 27-31, at Brambleton Regional Golf Course in Ashburn, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. daily.
