To the Editor:
My heart goes out to the victims and their families of the recent shooting at Virginia Tech, and my rage goes out to those who denied these young adults the right to bear arms for self defense. Virginia is an enlightened state in which most citizens can bear arms most of the time. But among the least enlightened in this subject are the academic elite, who continuously work to restrict the rights of adult students to defend themselves, despite the fact that college campuses are favorite stalking grounds for rapists, and it would seem, mass murderers. Disgusting! Outrageous! We must restore the right to bear arms to all good citizens, immediately, and resolve that never again will we be force people to become victims!
