The Martin Luther King Jr. Christian Church is holding its Fall Revival on Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 18-20 beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The revivalist will be the Reverend John Burns, Pastor of University Baptist Church in College Park, Md. A concert to benefit Israel needs through the annual campaign of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington will take place Sunday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. The Center is located at 8900 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax. Admission is a tax-deductible donation, with a suggested donation is $25 per person.

Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation will host an Israeli Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 6-10 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. The fair will feature the work of the Co-Op of Israeli Artists from Safed in northern Israel. Their town was heavily attacked in the recent war, forcing them to evacuate for several weeks. The Safed artists will have a variety of works for sale, including paintings, prints, photography, hand-made jewelry, Judaica, silks, etc. All proceeds will go to the artists. Congregation Sha’are Shalom, a Conservative synagogue, holds Erev Shabbat services Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Shabbat morning services on the first and third Saturdays of the month at 9:30 a.m. Rabbinic intern Michael Ragozin will preside over services once a month.
