Mount Vernon Holiday Tour. From Dec. 1-Jan. 6, visitors to Mount Vernon can walk through the mansion and see what the holidays were like at the estate of George Washington in the late 18th century. Mount Vernon by Candlelight tours are offered weekends beginning Nov. 24.
