The biennial Jack and Jill Cotillion/Beautillion Ball celebrated the accomplishments of 28 debutantes and beaus, who are juniors and seniors from high schools throughout Northern Virginia. Sponsored by Jack and Jill of America Inc., Reston Chapter, the Nov. 25 event, held at the Hyatt Regency in Reston Town Center, was also a fund-raiser to support educational scholarships and youth outreach programs.
Jack & Jill of America Inc. is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1938 to provide educational, cultural, civic and social experiences for young people. Its membership is composed primarily of mothers of African-American children who are dedicated to the improvement of their communities. There are more than 200 chapters across the country.
