Vienna's Dyer-Gunnel Post 180 of the American Legion will host a Veterans Day Ceremony this Saturday, Nov. 11. Sandra O'Connell, the keynote speaker, will discuss the effect of war on families, based on the book "The American Family and World War II," which she wrote with her husband, Ralph L. Minker Jr., a World War II veteran. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. at the post's base at 330 N. Center St., Vienna.
