Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coffman of Ashburn and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Morris of Martin, Tenn., are proud to announce the marriage of their children, Desiree Diane Coffman to Scott Anson Morris.
Coffman is the granddaughter of Bill and Dorothy Coffman of San Pedro, Calif., and James and Barbara Trani of San Pedro, Calif. She is a May 2006, magna cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelorÕs degree in family and consumer sciences with a concentration in education. At UTM, Coffman was a member of PGS, Gamma Beta Phi, Phi Kappa Phi, STEA and pass president of Phi Upsilon Omicron.
Morris is the grandson of Edward and Betty Morris of Dresden, Tenn., and Dorothy Childress and the late Voil Childress of McKenzie, Tenn. Morris is a 2005 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelorÕs degree in business administration and is currently employed at the Dickson County Airport in Dickson, Tenn., as a FAA certified flight instructor.
The ceremony will took place Saturday, May 27, at Hamilton Baptist Church in Hamilton. A reception followed at The Crowne Plaza in Herndon.
Following the honeymoon in California, the couple will reside in Dickson, Tenn., until their relocation to Virginia later in the summer where Morris will pursue his aviation career and Coffman will assume a teaching position in the Fairfax County school system.
