Montgomery County's Senior Caregiver Program, a program of the Department of Health and Human Services, is sponsoring a series of five drop-in programs for caregivers taking care of seniors 60 years and older. Potomac Seniors gather on Tuesdays and enjoy a wide range of activities together between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The program offers entertainment, health screening and education, chair exercises, crafts, informational speakers, counseling on issues of interest to seniors, occasional intergenerational activities, theme parties and lots of camaraderie. Mini-trips to local points of interest add another dimension to the wide range of possibilities offered at Potomac Seniors.
