Kyle McDaniel, the son of Rob and Nora McDaniel of Oakton, has been inducted into the National Honor Society at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, where he is a junior. To be selected for the Honor Society, a student must have earned at least a grade point average of 3.5 after having attended the academy for at least one semester, and excel in the areas of leadership, scholarship, service, and character.
Alison Rosner of Vienna has graduated summa cum laude from The College of William and Mary. Rosner received a Bachelor of Arts degree in dual majors of Religious Studies and International Relations. She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She has received a scholarship to attend Emory University/Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Ga., to pursue a Master of Divinity degree.
William C. Simonson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William N. Simonson of Vienna, was among the 194 men who graduated on Sunday, May 14 from Hampden-Sydney College. Simonson graduated with a B.A. in political science. He is a graduate of George C. Marshall High School.
