Col. Francis X. Lillis, U.S. Army (retired), of Vienna, died on Monday, May 1. He was the husband of Joan Lillis, father of Margaret Bloom, brother of Mary Cooper and Betty Anne Ciolek, and grandfather of Alexandra, Liam and Rachael.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Vienna on Friday, May 5.
Interment at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors will be on Thursday, July 6 at 3 p.m. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Administration Building by 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the contributor's choice.
