Is your child looking for an exciting taste of theatre this summer? Do you have a child with a knack for performing? Westfield High School is offering the Young Actors' Workshop again this year to current 2nd to 5th grade students (rising 3rd-6th graders) July 10-14 from 9 a.m. to noon at Westfield Theatre. The workshop fee is $100.
This is the third year that the Westfield Theatre Boosters has sponsored Young Actors’ Workshop, a fun, explorative and educational experience where young actors can learn the basics of theatre from Zoë Dillard, Westfield Theatre's assistant director, and her team of teachers and counselors. From character study, to improvisation, to singing and dancing, students will get a taste of many performing arts. To register, download a Young Actors’ Workshop registration form from the Westfield Theatre Boosters website at www.westfieldtheatreboosters.com or pick up a form from the Black Box Theatre at Westfield. Send the form and payment to Westfield Theatre Boosters, 4700 Stonecroft Blvd., Chantilly, VA 20151, with a check playable to Westfield Theatre Boosters.
