Spring sprung early in Potomac last week with temperatures in the 70s Friday, Saturday and Sunday and reaching 85 degrees--a new record--on Monday.
The open-air plaza in Potomac Village was filled Saturday as bicyclists rolled in and families ate outdoors.
Clouds had rolled in by Sunday evening but the warmth kept parents and children outside. At Hadley's Park on Falls Road, soccer and kite-flying were on the menu along with plenty of time on the playground.
The bad news for fans of the warm weather: temperatures are on their way back down to the 40s this week, with a chance of snow on Friday.
