Dr. Philip W. and Mrs. Debra Stracke Anderson of Vienna are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathleen Elizabeth Stracke, to Mathew Anderson Frix, son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Frix Jr. of Herndon. The wedding took place May 13 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Alexandria, with the Rev. Oran Warder presiding.
A dinner reception followed at City Club of Franklin Square in Washington, D.C., where guests danced to the music of the band Route 66. The newlyweds were surprised with a photo montage presentation of their lives, set to "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole. Special guests were grandparents of the bride, Mrs. Hazel Fries of Ash Grove, Mo., and Mr. Harold Richardson of Springfield, Mo.
The bride is associated with the commercial division of Lerner Enterprises. Her mother is president and CEO of Sloan Street Advisors Inc., an international commercial real estate firm, and is a member of the board of directors for the International Tenant Representative Alliance. Her father is president and CEO of P.W. Anderson & Partners Inc., an international consulting firm, and serves on the board of directors for Northern Virginia Community College.
The groom is an electrical foreman with Dynalectric, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group. His mother is a nurse supervisor with Inova Health System. His father is a professional engineer and founder of an engineering firm.
Following a honeymoon at Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica, the couple resides in Herndon.
