Days of severe and dismal weather cleared in time for numerous neighborhood celebrations on July 4th in Potomac. Shortly after 8 a.m., the runners took off from the starting line of the sixth annual Cure Autism Now 5K, followed by the walkers. Later in the morning, residents young and old in River Falls, Potomac Falls and Cabin John honored the anniversary of America’s independence with parades, food, and lots of red, white & blue.
