<sh>Two Women Assaulted

<bt>Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man responsible for assaulting two women in the Merrifield area on Friday, June 23. According to police, a 28-year-old Silver Spring woman was walking in the 2700 block of Prosperity Avenue at about 8:50 a.m. after leaving the Dunn Loring Metro station. A man approached her and asked for directions. The woman obliged, and he pulled her towards him in attempt to kiss her. The victim shoved him away and fled.

Approximately 10 minutes later, a 29-year-old Arlington woman was walking down the same block from the Metro station. The same suspect approached the woman, asked for directions and received them. The suspect then assaulted the victim and kissed her several times before she broke away and fled the scene, police said.

The suspect is described as a man of Middle Eastern descent in his late 30s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds, with a mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a light-colored button-down shirt and blue jeans. A composite sketch of the suspect has been released. <sh>Pizza Restaurant Robbed

<bt>Suspects entered the Domino's pizza restaurant at 2972 Chain Bridge Road in Oakton on June 26 at approximately 9:15 p.m. with guns in hand and robbed the store, according to police. One held the manager on the floor while the other two went through the cash register and tried to open the safe. They succeeded in taking the money and fleeing the store, with two headed towards Miller Road and one towards Chain Bridge Road. The suspects were three armed white males, wearing dark pants, dark hooded sweat shirts and bandannas over their faces.

<sh>Store Robbed in Tysons Area

<bt>According to police, as employees were closing the registers for the night at a Petco store, three men entered the store through a back door, and one armed man demanded the victims lie down. Police said the suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled through the back door. This occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Old Gallows Road. None of the five victims, aged 17-29, were injured. Not all victims were employees of the store.

One suspect was described as a black male 18-25 years old. He was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 170 pounds. He wore a black-hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan boots. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male 18-25 years old. He was about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed 210 pounds. He wore a gray sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. The third suspect was described as black. No additional information about him is available at this time.

<sh>Three Merrifield Businesses Cited

<bt>McLean District officers conducted alcohol stings at 31 locations within the McLean, Falls Church, Merrifield and Vienna areas of Fairfax County on Wednesday, June 28. This operation is part of the ongoing youth alcohol enforcement campaign conducted using underage Fairfax County police cadets, dressed in plain clothes, who attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages. Clerks at six locations improperly sold alcoholic beverages, including three Merrifield businesses: CVS at 8124 Arlington Blvd., 7-Eleven at 2828 Gallows Road and Great Wall Market at 2982 Gallows Road.

Each clerk who sold alcohol to a cadet was issued a summons for illegal sale of alcoholic beverage to a minor.
