The event will be a cycling ride with 32 and 12 mile course options on the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. Registration, from Aug. 1 until Sept. 2 is $25, afterwards, it is $35.

Firefighters from Reston Company 25, Wiehle Avenue Fire & Rescue Team will be joined by local residents who have experienced the trauma of a home fire in a program on Fire Safety. Station Commander Capt. James Ghi and his crew will describe important fire safety measures, provide personal checklists to help keep homes safe, and advise what to do first if a fire breaks out at your house or a neighbor's.
