Samantha Jo Houtz, daughter of James and Carol Houtz of Vienna, has been named to Virginia Tech university's dean's list for the fall semester. Students who achieve a 3.4 or higher grade point average were named to the list. Houtz is a freshman marketing management major at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin School of Business and is also in Tech’s University Honor’s Program.
Johnson and Wales student Fredy Huezo of Vienna has been named to the dean's list for the 2006 winter term.
Laura De Bortoli of Vienna a senior in the school of International Services at American University was named the fall 20o5 Dean's list.
Jennifer Durm of Vienna, was named to the dean's list for the 2005 fall semester at Lynchburg College in Virginia. She is the daughter of William and Mary Durm.
Brian Eck was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma freshman honor society at Salisbury University. Eck is majoring in finance and plays on the school's baseball team. He is the son of Jim and Denise Eck of Vienna.
