Greg Scoma was late to the opening of his new campaign headquarters because of the traffic on Richmond Highway. He is tired of traffic and wants to do something about it. He supports rail in general and if he is elected as delegate of the 44th District, that will be one of his initiatives, he said.
“Something has to be done,” Scoma said. “I’m open to different ideas — light rail, etc. With the development of Lorton and the BRAC implementation, congestion will only get worse. I want to make sure that the Virginia Transportation Fund is guaranteed to be used only for roads.”
Scoma spoke about many of his other ideas with supporters as they enjoyed a barbecue lunch. His new headquarters is located at 6803 Richmond Highway.
