The Lee Chorus Boosters present the first annual Chorus Day Carnival, on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m., in the Lee High School Cafeteria, 6540 Franconia, Springfield. Platters of BBQ Chicken or fish, burgers and hot dogs, cornbread and lots of sides will be available, along with sodas. Lee High School's homecoming week is Oct. 17-21, with events all week, including a pep rally on Oct. 21. Activities after school on Oct. 21 include a Chili Cook Off, a Battle of the Bands and a parade through the local neighborhood including the marching band, the homecoming court and banners made by each organization.
