RCC's Introduction to the Internet class is being offered twice Nov. 7 and Nov. 9, 6-8 p.m. Both classes will be held in the RCC Computer Classroom at the RCC Hunters Woods facility. The prerequisites for this class include knowledge of the keyboard and the use of the mouse. Participants should also know basic computer navigation for Windows such as opening, scrolling through and closing windows. RCC's flower arranging class teaches students how to take advantage of seasonal foliage to make holiday arrangements. The class, held Saturday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the RCC Hunters Woods, 2310 Colts Neck Road, will focus on depth and dimension as well as how to care for flowers before and after they are arranged. Participants will create a floral arrangement to take home. Participants should bring a flower knife or floral shears. The class fee is $25 for people who live or work in Reston and $40 for all others. A $20 supply fee is due to the instructor at the start of the class.
