Fairfax County police last week charged two Centreville women and a Washington, D.C., man with distribution of cocaine. They are Nakasha T. Warren, 28, of 14486 Four Chimney Drive in the Newgate community; Casey Yvette Geter, 35, of 6016 Havener House Way, also in Newgate; and Marron F. Nowlin, 23, of 13th Place S.E., in the District.
"Detectives from the Organized Crime Division arrested them after developing information that they were [allegedly] involved in distributing narcotics in the area of Lee Highway and Stone Road in Centreville," said police Lt. Rich Perez. "During the arrest, the man brandished a loaded handgun at the detectives, but dropped it when he was challenged."
The arrests were made last Thursday evening, Oct. 27, following a traffic stop of their vehicle at the Route 29/Stone Road intersection. Police charged Warren with two counts of cocaine distribution; she's being held in the Adult Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
Geter was charged with one count of cocaine distribution and was released from jail, the same day, on $2,000 bond. Police charged Nowlin with one count of distribution of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and altering the serial number of a weapon. He's being held on $25,000 bond. All three have Jan. 9, 2006 court dates.
