Army Spec. Michelle V. Owens has graduated the Imagery Analyst Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is the daughter of Kevin F. and Maurese O. Owens of N. Madison St. Arlington. Owens graduated in 1997 from Yorktown High School.
Army Pvt. David A. Brundage has graduated from the Electronic Intelligence Non-communications Interceptor/Analyst Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista, Ariz. Brundage is the son of Stephen G. and Jeanine J. Brundage of N. 27th St., Arlington. He is a 2004 graduate of Yorktown High School.
Army National Guard Spec. Christopher C. Jordan is a member of the 48th Brigade Combat Team who recently participated in one of the most realistic scenarios offered by the U.S. Army at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif. The Georgia National Guard soldier is a member of the 1st Battalion, 108th Armor Regiment based in Calhoun, with units in Canton and Dalton. Jordan is a fire support specialist with more than two years of military service. He is the son of Cheryl L. McCracken of Kennebec Street, Arlington.
Air Force Reserve Airman Maria V. Ibanez has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Doris Vaca De Ibanez of S. Eads St., Arlington.

Marine Corps Pfc. Matthew D. Sather, a 2000 graduate of Yorktown High School, recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
Marine Corps Pfc. Varun M. Patel, son of Daxa M. and Mithilesh N. Patel of Arlington, recently completed the Administrative Clerk Course at Personnel Administration School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Patel is a 2004 graduate of Wakefield High School and joined the Marine Corps in September 2004.
