Walking for Autism Research

The "Walk F.A.R. for NAAR" fund-raising event for autism research took place at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Saturday, May 7.

NAAR is the National Alliance for Autism Research; the walk is the first and largest walk dedicated to autism research in the United States.

Since 2000, approximately 171,000 people have participated in 65 walks across the country raising more than $18.3 million for autism research.

This year walkers participated in dozens of events nationwide and along with inaugural events in Toronto and London
