Students, staff and parents celebrated McNair Elementary School's recent business partnership with Kaiser Permanente the evening of March 15 with Professor Bodywise.
Through the "healthy lifestyles" program, Kaiser's Health Education Theatre Group presented Professor Bodywise's Traveling Menagerie, an interactive program to educate and encourage students to practice living and eating right — the first 100 children also received free health and hygiene goodie bags.
For several years, Kaiser Permanente and its Reston Medical Center have supported McNair Elementary School through a Winter Warmth and School Supplies Drive.
The strong need for health education and interactive programs prompted Kaiser to make the relationship formal.
