Carjacking Suspect Sought

Sheriff's Investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect said to have attempted to take a car at

gun point last week in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County SheriffÕs Office.

A 33-year-old Ashburn man told authorities he pulled into his driveway on Lamoreaux Landing Square around 10:40 p.m., June 2, when he claims a black male approached his car. The suspect tapped on the glass with a firearm and told the victim to get out of the car. The suspect fled the scene on foot possibly because he saw the victim was using his cell phone.

The suspect is described as being approximately 40 years old, 6 feet in height and with a thin build. He was wearing a ÒdoÓ rag, a short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
