Long & Foster announces the top sales associates for May. Anita Lasansky, manager of the Herndon/Reston Long & Foster office, announced Virgilio Vasquez as the top producer, lister, seller and the agent with the most new listings with a sales volume of $19,702,788.
Michael Guthrie, manager of the Reston Long & Foster office, announced Yusef Khatib as the top producer and seller with a sales volume of $7,658,407; Angela Mitchell as the top lister; and Boofie O’Gorman as the agent with the most new listings.
Jon Querolo, manager of the Reston North Hills Long & Foster office, announced Missy Edmundson as the top producer, lister and the agent with the most new listings with a sales volume of $5,850,000; and Debbie Gill as the top seller.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has introduced a faster, more effective way for its sales associates to respond to the growing number of customers who are using the Internet in their home buying or selling process.
The solution is an innovative lead management system called LeadRoute, that enables sales associates to respond to prospective customers within minutes of receiving an online request.
One of the four new condominium communities being developed by KSI Services, Inc. (KSI) in the Washington, D.C. area is in Reston and has entered the sales phase. These urban communities will add more than 1,200 units to the region's residential real estate market. The Midtown Reston Lofts, as part of the Midtown Reston Town Center, is comprised of 78 new homes, which include one to three bedroom designs. They range in price from the mid-$500,000's to more than $1.5 million. Fourteen of the homes were sold within the first sales weekend in June. KSI also has a purchase agreement to buy the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church property in Reston near Lake Anne.
Bev Feitshans, branch manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Reston office, announced that several sales associates have been honored for their achievements in June.
Earning the honor of top producer for the second month in a row was Anne Lefevere, who led the way in dollar volume, revenue units and total sales. Lefevere is a member of the Chairman of the Board Elite Club and the President’s Gold Club, the latter signifying a high level of sales financed through Weichert Financial.
Peter Burke, a member of the President’s Club, led the office in listings and listings sold. He is a graduate of Weichert’s Management Awareness Program and completed an internship in management at Weichert’s Herndon office. Burke has lived in Reston for 25 years.

The Long & Foster Companies, the largest privately-owned residential real estate and related financial services company in America, reported June 2005 total sales of $7.3 billion for the month, an increase of 26 percent over June 2004. It was the best June in the company’s 37-year history.
The numbers include: Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., with $4.7 billion in sales, up 24 percent on 12,481 property transactions; Prosperity Mortgage, the firm’s mortgage affiliate, reported a record $596 million in volume of business, an increase of 66 percent over the previous year; Long & Foster Insurance, a record $502 million, up 15 percent; and Mid-States Title a record $1.5 billion for the month, up 23 percent over the previous June. These latter figures indicate the popularity of the firm’s Prestige Partners settlement services with Long & Foster’s more than 14,000 Sales Associates.
