Xiaoxi Lu of Reston has been recognized as one of Comcast's Leaders and Achievers with a $1,000 grant from The Comcast Foundation for outstanding commitment to community service. Xiaoxi, a 2005 graduate of South Lakes High School, will be attending the University of Virginia in the fall. Xiaoxi's parents are Zhongping Lu and Shuxiaan Li of Reston.
David A. Lynch of Reston was among 375 seniors to receive degrees from Roanoke College at its 163rd commencement ceremony held May 7. Lynch received a bachelor's of business administration and graduated cum laude.
