Tony Mitchell, 90, of Hollywood, Fla., died Dec. 28, at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was born in June 27, 1914 in Kettle River, Minn., to the late Anton and Mary Mohelski Marhefka. Mitchell was the beloved husband of the late Vienna A. Mitchell; loving and devoted father of Terry M. Mitchell of Reston and Dale R. Mitchell of Fort Myers, Fla.; brother of Frank Mitchell of Trenton, Mich., Irene Bergfalk of Cloquet, Minn. and Alice Payne of Seattle, Wash.; and grandfather of Kristen L. Mitchell.
Funeral services were held in Hollywood, Fla., Dec. 30 and a graveside service was held Monday, Jan. 2, at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Jennifer Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Unitarian Universalist Church in Reston, 1625 Wiehle Ave., Reston, VA 20190.
