Brittany Hince of Fairfax recently visited the South African Embassy in Washington, D.C., through the Lynchburg College Westover Honors program. Hince, a graduate of Chantilly High School, is the daughter of Charles and Mary Hince of Fairfax.

Ashley R. Barker, 22, of Fairfax graduated from Radford University on Dec. 18, 2004, earning her bachelor of science degree in media studies with a concentration in advertising. Barker also recently completed an internship with Rockbridge Associates in Great Falls, in the field of marketing research, where she has been hired full time beginning in January.
Rachel L. Bassford graduated on Dec. 16, 2004, from the University of Miami's School of Communication, with a double major in motion pictures and sociology. Rachel was also named to the Provost Honor Roll during her last semester. Rachel is the daughter of Bob and Lori Bassford of Fairfax.
