Master Gardener Training Program for residents of Arlington County and Alexandria begins January 13 at the Fairlington Community Center in Arlington. Classes will meet from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays through March 31. Participants receive training in practical gardening and landscaping techniques that preserve and protect the environment. The program is offered by the Arlington County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension in cooperation with the City of Alexandria.
