Dominion High School drama department presents an updated version of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." The play will use all of the original dialogue from the Shakespeare classic. While not changing the words, they have given a modern look to the play. The actors will be wearing modern dress and using modern scenery to bring the play into the 21st century. The production will include choreographed fight scenes with the help of Kevin Robertson of the Sterling Playmakers.
The play will run from Feb. 10-13, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday; Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. Opening night, Outback Steakhouse will be providing dinner, from 5-7 p.m., for the public at the school for $15 for adults, $6 for 12 and under and $35 for a family. Dinner includes your play ticket; reservations are required and can be made at the Dominion High School Web site. Deadline for reservation is Feb. 4 and must be accompanied by the payment.
