Valentine Tea. Young ladies, 8 years old and up, are invited to bring their American Girl doll or other doll for a Valentine tea. Valentine's Tea Dance At RCC. Take Your Valentine to a Tea Dance at Reston Community Center. Swing, sway and dance your cares away at the Reston Community Center's Senior Academy Tea Dance. Dancers of all skill levels are invited to fox-trot, swing, cha-cha and waltz while our disc jockey and dance instructor, Michael Rye, leads you through three mini dance lessons during the two-hour session from 2:30 -4:30 p.m. Mini dance lessons, door prizes and Valentine's Day treats and decorations included; partners are not required. Admission is $3 per person and the dance is intended for persons age 55 or older. Future dances will be will be March 13, April 10 and May 8. Valentine’s Concert. Celebrate Valentine's Day with an evening of light classical and popular music selections played by a small ensemble of 12 students from the Langston Hughes Middle School's Advanced Orchestra. The performance, which is free and suitable for all ages, will take place at 7 p.m., at the Jo Ann Rose Gallery, in the Reston Community Center Lake Anne.
