Groveton Elementary School fourth-graders know their Virginia history. To demonstrate their knowledge, they put on an SOL Musical Revue.
Kate Hart and Amy Glibert wrote the revue titled, “This is Virginia!” Students danced, sang and acted their way through A New Beginning, American Independence, Freedom’s Road and This is Virginia! This is America!
Participating in the program were students from Ms. Snyder’s, Mr. Crane’s, Ms. Glibert’s and Ms. Dolan’s classes. A full crowd of parents, teachers and other supporters packed the room to watch the show.
