Army Pfc. James L. Masterson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the former ward of Gregg Giordano, and brother of Brian Masterson, both of Dakota Lakes Drive, Herndon. The private is a 1998 graduate of James Madison High School, Vienna.
Army Pvt. Raul E. Zelaya has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Raul Zelaya and Doris Beltrami of Mager Drive, Herndon. The private is a 2005 graduate of Herndon High School.
