German School students and parents as well as friends in the local German community and Potomac neighbors turned out for the school’s annual Christmas Bazaar Dec. 3.
Parents dined on traditional German food while children ate cotton candy, danced to Christmas music, and had their faces painted at the event.
More than 20 vendors took part in the bazaar, which is the school’s largest fund-raiser of the year.
In the evening, children marched in a parade with paper lanterns, celebrating St. Martin’s Day, a traditional German holiday.
