Long & Foster announces top sales associates in Loudoun County for July. Ashburn: Adeline Medeiros was the top producer with a sales volume of $2,237,800; Medeiros, Abeer Abdin, Maureen Palmer and Nancy Pav were the top listers; Dave Olson was the top seller; and Sandy Brill and Emily Kemp were the agents with the most new listings. Leesburg: Gwen Pangle was top producer and seller with a sales volume of $14,658,000; and Ron Resnick was the top lister and the agent with the most new listings. Purcellville: Michele Stevens was the top producer and lister with a sales volume of $1,370,000; and Paul Conley was the top seller. The Loudoun County Department of Social Services' Housing Services Division provides "Homeownership 101" workshops to assist potential first-time home buyers in understanding the entire home buying process. The six-hour workshop covers a number of topics relating to home ownership, including budgeting, credit, working with Realtors, the mortgage process and what to expect at settlement.
The next workshop is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 19 and Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Eastern Loudoun Regional Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Sterling. Attendance at both sessions is required. Additional workshop dates and locations are posted on the Loudoun County Government Web site at www.loudoun.gov/housing.
