Justin Solomon of Oakton recently won the computer science category as well as “Best in Fair” at the 20th Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair held at Randolph-Macon College. His project was "Identification of Differential Surface Properties on a Triangle Mesh and Facial and Object Recognition." As a result of winning “Best in Fair,” Justin is eligible for a $5,000 scholarship to Randolph-Macon College and also will represent Virginia at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Ariz. in May. He is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
