Racing for Victims' Rights

Annual event raises funds for GMU Rape Aggression Defense program.

Runners and walkers flocked to the Fairfax campus of George Mason University on Tuesday, April 12, for the 9th Annual Victims' Rights 5K Run and Walk. This event was co-sponsored by the GMU Patriot Battalion of the Army ROTC, University Police and Sexual Assault Services. Proceeds from this event went to GMU's Rape Aggression Defense program, which offers free women's self defense and victim services to the university community.
