Local area vendors are invited to the 2005 Loudoun County

Procurement's Buyer/Seller Information Exchange sessions. The purpose of these informal sessions is to give area businesses the opportunity to meet the county's procurement staff and become familiar with the county's procurement process. The next round of sessions are as follows:

* Wednesday, April 20, 10:30 a.m.

* Thursday, May 19, 2 p.m.

* Wednesday, June 22, 10:30 a.m.

* Thursday, July 21, 2 p.m.

Loudoun Cooperative Extension is offering a seminar on "Starting a family Child Care Business," Thursday, April 21, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at the Extension Office, 30 B Catoctin Circle, S.E., Leesburg. Topics include getting started in family child care, zoning, advertising, contracts, arranging space, activity planning and preparing nutritious foods in family day care. Requirements for licensing and how to enroll in the USDA Food Program for reimbursements of meals and snacks, also discussed. Registration fee $10. Call 703-777-0373.

Sonak Family Chiropractic is celebrating itÕs third anniversary and will host a celebration Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., which includes food, door prizes, chiropractic and chair massage. All are invited to stop by 46859 Harry Byrd Highway, No. 102, Sterling.

Relocation Systems, a North American Van Lines agent located near Dulles Airport, has been recognized with a 2004 "Quality Through Safety Award." The company was also recently named the Government Agent of the Year for the sixth consecutive year.

Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. contributed to the David Dingman-Grover Cancer Fund, which benefits the continued health care of a 9-year old Sterling boy who garnered national media coverage after he had nicknamed his brain tumor "Frank" and his mother had launched an online auction to help pay for his medical bills. The boy, David Dingman-Grover, is now cancer free. Bowman's donation was in conjunction with a ceremony April 5 where the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors proclaimed the day as David Dingman-Grover day.
