<lst>Army Reserve Pvt. Victor L. Lee has graduated from the Signal Support Systems Specialist Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. Lee is the son of Shih S. and Pin Lee of Sea Cliff Road, Mc Lean, and a 2004 graduate of Mc Lean High School.
Marine Corps Cpl. Laura B. Ramsey, daughter of Julie A. Mierau of Ravenna, Ohio and William B. Ramsey of Great Falls, was recently meritoriously promoted to her current rank while serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego.
Navy Ensign John J. Dues Jr., son of Janet F. and John J. Dues of McLean, recently reported for duty at Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas.
Dues is a 1999 graduate of Gonzaga College High School of Washington, D.C. and joined the Navy in May 2003. He is a 2003 graduate of University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Ind. with a BBA degree.
Cadet Randall Taylor Carroll, son of Randy and Ellen Carroll of Great Falls, was named to the Dean's List at the U.S. Military Academy. To qualify for the Dean's List a cadet must maintain a 3.0 grade point average. Carroll plans to graduate in 2007 from West Point and be commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
Air Force Airman Alejandro J. Castro, son of Nelson and Gloria Castro of Northwood Trail, Mc Lean, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Castro is a 2001 graduate of Pimmit Hills Alternative High School, Falls Church.
