Deadline to register for the Nov. 2 General Election
Registered voters with disabilities, who reside in precincts where the polling place is not accessible because of structural barriers, may be assigned to an alternate polling place. To request an application for reassignment to an accessible polling place for the presidential election on Nov. 2, the voter must contact the Elections Office by Oct. 12, at 5 p.m. Voters can check their voter notification card for the accessibility status of their polling place by calling the Election Office at 240-777-8500 or visiting the Board of Elections' Web site at www.777vote.org.
