The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:
<cal1>ASSAULT
<lst>600 block Center Street. Aug. 19, 12:58 p.m., the complainant reported being assaulted by an acquaintance. A primary aggressor could not be determined. Warrant procedures were advised to both parties.
600 block Austin Lane. Aug. 21, 12:48 a.m., the complainant reported being struck by a bottle. Injuries were observed, but there were conflicting stories. Warrant procedures were advised to both parties.
1000 block Kings Court. Aug. 18, 9:30 p.m., the complainant reported being struck by an acquaintance. Injuries were observed. Leo Chito Moreno Briones, 39, of Herndon was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
1200 block Elden Street. Aug. 20, 12:03 p.m., the complainant reported being struck by an acquaintance. Alexander Geovani Varela, 24, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC. He was charged with assault and battery and obstruction of justice.

<lst>12900 block Worldgate Drive. Aug. 14, 10:19 a.m., exit signs were damaged.
500 block Florida Avenue. Aug. 18, 2:45 a.m., a sliding glass door was shattered.
700 block Palmer Drive. Aug. 18, 11:15 a.m., a window was broken.
12900 block Alton Square. Aug. 22, 3:28 p.m., a door was damaged.
700 block Cordell Way. Aug. 17, 9:09 a.m., graffiti was spray painted on playground equipment.
300 block Herndon Parkway. Aug. 22, 2:30 p.m., a door was shattered.
800 block Ferndale Avenue. Aug. 18, 2 p.m., graffiti was scratched into new paint.
1100 block Cypress Tree Place. Aug. 17, 3:57 a.m., a car was scratched.
1200 block Wilshire Drive. Aug. 16, 2:30 p.m., a storage door and plumbing pipe was damaged.
<cal1>DRUNK IN PUBLIC ARRESTS
<lst>Elden Street/Monroe Street. Aug. 16, 4:06 p.m., Jose Mateo Otero, 28, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
1100 block Elden Street. Aug. 21, 8:05 p.m., Marcos Hernandez, 30, of Herndon, and Diaz Santos, 35, of no fixed address, were arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
<cal1>DWI ARRESTS
<lst>Station Street/Lynn Street. Aug. 16, 10:43 p.m., Hector Ruiz, 26, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC. He was held on a $1,000 bond.
Herndon Parkway/Monroe Street. Aug. 19, 11:54 p.m., Andrew List Palmer, 34, of Reston, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
1200 block Alabama Drive. Aug. 22, 1:29 a.m., Hector Fidel Portillo, 24, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
300 block Herndon Parkway. Aug. 22, 2:30 p.m., Olvin Omar Maldonado Romero, 27, of Sterling, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC. A summons from Loudoun County was also served on Romero. He was held on a $3,000 bond.
<cal1>LARCENY
<lst>400 block Spruce Court. Aug. 18, 7:12 p.m., cash was taken from a lock box.
500 block Elden Street. Aug. 21, 10:51 a.m., a subject left without paying for gas.
1300 block Monroe Street. Aug. 19, 11:19 a.m., a Honda Accord was taken and later recovered by Herndon Police.
1200 block Wilshire Drive. Aug. 18, midnight, license plates were taken from a vehicle.
<cal1>OTHER VIOLATIONS
<lst>1300 block April Way. Aug. 18, 9:35 p.m., a subject exposed himself to the complainant. The subject was described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches, 140 pounds and approximately 20-23 years old.
200 block Elden Street. Aug. 17, 6:45 p.m., Allison Riggs, 21, of Potomac Falls, was charged with sell alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 and released on a summons.
300 block Elden Street. Aug. 17, 7:28 p.m., Thonghai Hansupichon, 28, of Silver Spring, Md., was charged with sell alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 and released on a summons.
400 block Elden Street. Aug. 17, 8:26 p.m., Elsy Xiomara Baraza Lopez, 28, of Centreville, was charged with sell alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 and released on a summons.
200 block Van Buren Street. Aug. 18, 9:55 a.m., Ajax Tchakounte, 21, of Herndon, was arrested for driving on a suspended license and was transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
600 block Elden Street. Aug. 17, 9:40 p.m., Sung Kim, 30, of Centreville, was charged with sell alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 and released on a summons.
1000 block Trevino Lane. Aug. 22, 6:03 p.m., Gary Lorenzo Parks, 25, of Herndon, was released on a summons for driving on a revoked license. Parks had an active warrant from Loudoun County and was turned over to a Loudoun County Deputy.
